Theatre: Nucleus by Alana Valentine

• A collaboration between Bay and Basin Citizen Science and the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum. Written by local Jervis Bay writer, this remarkable play explores love, conflict, and environmental responsibility. Awarded Highly Commended in the 2026 NSW Literary Awards, Nucleus is a thought-provoking play which grew from five years of research, including interviews with residents from Valentine's home region of Jervis Bay, grounding the story in real-world environmental and social contexts. Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June, 5pm, Jervis Bay Maritime Museum.

  
  

2nd round of eDNA test results

• The results show DNA from a huge range of species, including mussels. Mussels are visible on the pontoon and moorings at both Murrays Beach and Green Patch.
